The University of Illinois has been moving medicine forward for the benefit of the people of Illinois and beyond since 1859. As a major step in realigning and focusing their resources, Illinois Medical Center brings together U of I's vast health sciences resources into one powerful organization.

ThinkPiece Creative provided design and development for print-based materials, including signage, brochures and collateral that broadcast the realignment to both internal and external audiences.

ThinkPiece Creative provided design and development. Third party services such as YouTube and Twitter were integrated to provide a solution that captured current social media in a concise format. A third party CMS integration provides a robust blogging framework that allows easy content management. Like it, share it, Tweet, Digg. We do.

ThinkPiece Creative provided design and development. 3rd party services such as ZocDoc and Demand Force were integrated into the interface to provide a solution that utilized existing services and was cost-effective. Appointment requests, patient reviews and user contact information are collected and managed by a content management system that allows easy content manipulation.

An advanced software system that lowers the risk of hemoglobin cycling side effects.

Physician Software Systems was formed to commercialize a world-renowned medical education and research institution's innovative approach to managing the anemia experienced by patients undergoing hemodialysis.
The institution's advanced software system helps to manage individualized patient dosing of Erythropoietic Stimulating Agents (ESAs). Use of the system reduces variability in hemoglobin levels (i.e. hemoglobin cycling).
It therefore lowers the risk of hemoglobin cycling side effects such as anemia, weakness, increased risk of thrombosis, stroke, and cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.

ThinkPiece Creative provided design consultation for User Interface and User Experience. Physician Software Systems and ThinkPiece Creative worked together to build a more intuitive medical tool. Together, Design and Technology are helping to change people's lives.

The Chicago Lower Extremity Symposium Foundation is a three day course focused on the principles of deformity correction and trauma management featuring lectures and case presentations from industry-leading physicians.

The purpose of the course is to provide a basis for current surgical techniques in the management of lower extremity trauma and reconstruction.

The CLESF course is an intense three days of lectures with case presentations, coupled with specialized hands on workshops. The symposium focuses on: three ring external fixation; current concepts in pediatric trauma management; nerve entrapment surgical techniques; rearfoot and ankle arthrodesis surgical techniques. Saint Anthony Hospital hosts an annual blockparty-type event. This year's special guests included: Tumbling For Success, Inc.; Chicago Adrenaline Rush Dancers, Lindsey & Tracy; Chicago White Sox mascot Southpaw; the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile; the WNBA's Chicago Sky mascot, Sky Guy; the Chicago Blackhawks mascot, Tommy Hawk.; a bike safety seminar and a dunk tank. ThinkPiece Creative partnered with Williams Labadie to develop a demo real that presents a new website for the American Medical Association. AMAfluHelp.org is the first of its kind online health software platform offering an integrated suite of solutions designed for individuals, their families, and health care professionals to connect to each other securely in one place.

In 2009 Saint Anthony Hospital became an independent facility, separating from Ascension Health. The bi-lingual annual report marks this milestone and presents the Hospital as a community-focused faith-based health care provider.
