Daniel Herskovic is a classically trained chef from the California Culinary Academy. His formal training in chocolate is with the French Pastry School and The Notter School of Pastry Arts. Mayana Chocolates started out as an offering though his catering services, was incorporated in 2008 and has begun to take shape.
Mayana Chocolate combines traditional dark chocolate flavors with coriander, carmelized peanut butter, fleur de sel caramel, green apple, pistachio, passion fruit, toasted coconut, and mayan chile spice. Its identity expresses a foundation in classic training with an expression of modern influences.
